 Allright Haymaker I'm going to try Paslode! I've been using air
freshener and body sprays with good results but I'm open to new ideas. If you
hear a loud bang you will know who. I guess we all need to get out of the rut!

You won't be sorry! Sure, 13 bucks for two cylinders is steep, but, it'll outlast the cannon and spud supply.

Just drill a stepped hole in the side and you can use the supplied metering nozzle. 3 squirts will work best.

man, all this discussion about spray in fuels.... why dont ya guys go to the $2 propane tank? i mean that $2 tank will give you 500+ shots metered at 80 psi

the parts for the metering pipe are rather spendy if you use brass but you'll save in the long run, i think i used to get about 30-50 shots from starting fluid or right guard and those cans cost just as much as a disposable propane tank

Not to mention propane is so much easier to inject, easier to ignite, faster to inject, mixes better, cleaner to combust, cleaner on the chamber cleaner on the igniton electrodes, can be controlled manually or electronically, can be metered to an exact ammount for perfect shots every time, and again is cheaper than any other fuel.

well id say gort drove that one home, anything else we forgot to mention? oh yeah you can convert any hairspray combustion into a propane cannon using a tire chuck, schrader valve and the typical meter pipe pieces

I have just the opposite result. I just bought a can of Right Guard with butane listed as the major inactive ingredient. So much power in my bigger combustion cannon that it scares the dickens out of me (but lights up the night sky with a great muzzle flash). On the other hand I have a mini that is very inconsistent with Right Guard. Too much RG and I can't even get a spark from the BBQ ignition. Too little RG and nothing happens. The one time in 20 when I get it right --Woo Hoo!

Anybody have a good metering system for a mini (150 ml chamber) combustion and a recommended propellant?

I'm considering a green pnuematic:
  • Renewable energy resource (muscle power from a hand pump).
    Only chucks organic spuds.

Two questions:
  • 1) Is PVC Recyclable?
    2) Anybody know anything about biomethane? Then you could have a green combustion cannon.

PM13- Please from such childish questions/ statements.

SM- There was no need for a response seeing as first such a idea is far from plausible and childish.

DGR-C- Where you think that plastic was made from both you PVC and hand pump? Launching a potato in itself is not "natural" seeing as before human interventage they were not propelled by compressed air.

To your questions:
1- I googled your question exactly and I got <a href="http://www.google.com/search?q=Is+PVC+R ... l">THIS</a>. <a href="http://www.grrn.org/pvc/">THIS</a> was the first result.

2- Lets stop being "politically correct" and realise any change in our fuel will have 0.000000000000000000000000001 impact. Proably more zeros, but I didnt want to drag it out. I never been a fan of enviromentalists... One down the street built his house with metal studs to "save" wood, but in all reality wood being a renewable resource would still have been a better choice when attempting to be envirmentally freindly. Who in the hell says humans are natural? Beetles can wipe out thousands of acres of trees and its natural, but when a human takes one tree down with a chain saw, thats not natural.

Again, please refrain from enviromental babbiling, seeing as its all a joke. I might listen to someone that actually live what they preached. All I have learned from enviromentalists is that humans arent natural, everyone but thereselfs are destroying the o-zone, and weeding is plant racism...

You're terminally humor impaired.

I'm outta here. The signal to noise ration is too low.
