ok, hi, im working on a premixed fuel design it would mix the propane with compressed air before it enters the chamber..
but i have a question. im working on a prototype using a 20 oz bottle and i was wondering i know if you put a drop of oil in a hpa paint ball tank it could explode but i was wondering would it explode if i put propane in a bottle and pressurized it to 70-80 psi?
premixed fuel.. questions...

it is very important to keep all oil out of O2 lines, as it will explode, hence the "use no oil" stickers all over, but no, it won't happen with propane, as that is done in hybrids all the time.

If your supplier's propane has high enough oxidiser content in it to make that a concern, I suggest taking your business elsewhere.but i have a question. im working on a prototype using a 20 oz bottle and i was wondering i know if you put a drop of oil in a hpa paint ball tank it could explode but i was wondering would it explode if i put propane in a bottle and pressurized it to 70-80 psi?
Even if your "propane" was pure oxygen, you wouldn't need to worry about it at 70-80 psi. Believe me. I've tried.
