ok right now i have a "shop force" air compressor from mejiers. Its pretty small but it gets up to 70psi max but it takes like 5 min.

What is a good quick filling air compressor that doesnt cost that much.

quality and price go hand in hand, better to spend a bundle on an air compressor that won't quit, than to buy a cheap one that'll quit on you in a year or two.

a word of advice, don't buy a campbell hausfield from walmart, my grandpa got one and the seal on the piston was just a rubber band! the piston was also able to move anyway it wanted, and it basically destroyed the cylinder wall.

you could always build your own, though i never finished mine, my grandpa made one out of a 4 stroke lawnmower engine, and using a 1/2 HP electric motor to drive it, it runs great, we had both experimented with 2 strokes, and found they don't work too well, thats why i gave up on my air compressor.

I spent $150 on a porter cable 6gal compressor and it came with a 16 ga brad nailer. I would look to see what is on sale do some research and invest in something good.

I have some Hitachi brand that I got from a sale at Home Depot, it was really cheap, but it works really good... It's a pancake compressor so it barely takes any room
