I just found this little DYI site and though it was pretty cool and I wanted to share it with you all. The guy has some nice projects. He doesnt have to much in the way of spudding but a simple pneumatic. He does have a "working" blow forward semi auto paintball gun. He seems to be really into small scale tanks. You can also learn how to cook a giant pizza
The Gizmologist's Lair as he calls himself
Nice little site

Would that not be DIY site?Maniac wrote:I just found this little DYI site
Interesting site, but the paintball gun isn't much more than the simplest of blow forward designs.
But I'll keep the pizza suggestion in mind...
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?
Yeah, I haven't even started my website yet.Would that not be DIY site?Maniac wrote:

That's probably a good thing. If I'd been the one in charge of building the gun for that pocket tank, who knows what would've happened?Yea ive been using his sight for some general DIY projects, unfortunately he has no DYI projects
I believe it becomes a DYI project when the operator is worried that he's only a few kilometres from the nearest house, and that the length of the wires puts him just barely outside the kill radius if something goes wrong.

HAHA. Yes I would think that "tank" would probably be turned into lifesize one outfitted with the roket you were building and firing something of the nature of whats in your sig.

Well yeah, you see that's the thing: sure, it's fine to give your kid a rocket powered Jagdpanzer with a gun that fires metal garbage cans packed with a hundred pounds of flash powder. But when his friends come over and convince him to take them out for a spin, and you end up having to explain to the Homeland Security people what exactly happened to that tour bus...HAHA.
