for the longest time I worked with mini spudguns. (mostly because my parents were worried about the larger ones) so after convincing them I know what im doin I started construction on my largest (to date spudgun) barrel is 1 1/2 inch diameter by 2 feet long the whole gun comes in at 3 feet from tip of barrel to tip of endcap. the ignition is just a humble bbq ignition and the wires are cleaned up the best I could. fuel used is propane. even tho it has a small combustion chamber it still has some kick firing apples around 50 yards. haven't tryed golfballs yet. damage video coming soom.

If that is a standard sched 40 1.5" barrel, you won't be shooting golfballs out of it...too small. You need SDR 21 1.5" for golfballs.

I like your use of the bell end on your chamber, ergonomic placement of the trigger and the effort you put into making your wiring neat. My only real complaint is the use of black tape to hold the trigger...it won't last and looks a tad ghetto.

You didn't say if your metering your propane or not. If you're just giving it a squirt and hoping for the best, a metering setup would be like night and day. I think you could even find a little fan to drop in there.

Overall, a decent cannon!...

Well you have already committed to propane, the next step is just metering it. It can be as simple as

Your meter cell would be a good bit smaller of course. Just install a female quick connect on your gun and you're done.

it doesn't sounds very powerful to me..
next time, use a chamber with a bigger diameter. 8)
