I personaly use POV-Ray, available free at povray.com
It doesn't have the shalowest learning curve, but it's legaly free and very powerfull.
However, I'm annoyed that you couldn't be bothered to use the knifing search engein in the corner of the page, and instead chose to bump a old topic with... no, not just a 'that's cool' reply, but infact a <i>off topic</i> reply.

I know that this thread is slowly dying but would ou be willing to give the exact lengths of the sch 40 1" and 3/4" pipe sections that you used? Also what is the size and diameter of the shown piece. (please don't get mad at me I copied and modified one of the original pics.)

Ease up davidvaini, i know he should have read the rules first and not kicked up an old topic, but we were all new once.... mistakes happen.
With negatively "yelling" at the new members, all you are doing is possibly driving them away, so just next time, try to be nicer when introducing new members to the rules if they break them....
