Well, if you already have a co2 onflator I would suggest making a miniature bust disk valve gun. Cheap thrills and it would acutally work if you're only going for one shot.

Harder that you would think to achieve with homemade devices, so a spray of projectiles is a better idea ;) of course I'm an advocate of low rate of fire and high power but BBMGs on the opposite principle, while wasteful, are great fun :)

Then I would suggest one of my BDC with a single Airsoft Barrel.

A burst disk is an option, also you could remove the "trigger" lever and conjure up a hammer valve to give you shorter lock time and more consistency.

I believe the general idea was to make something for "cheap thrills." Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think homemade hammer valves are generally used for "cheap thrills," however, yes that is an option.
