Alright -

I was looking on spudtech.com the other day and say a small gun, called the "TBL250LP", used to launch tennis balls

It had a 12 gram CO2 adapter glued directley into the chamber.

The pictures are indistinct, but it looks like a steel threaded piece sautered to a copper elbow

does anyone know if these adapters are available commercialy, and if so, where?

i would love to add a CO2 cartidge to one of my pnuematics without having to buy the $60.00 gun.

This screws into an ASA. Most ASAs end with a 1/8" NPT thread.

unless your gun is copper steer away from CO2 it makes PVC brittle  because as CO2 decompresses it cools everything, so its like taking the gun out and firing it in the snow.

Thanks hubb017

But wait - does the quick change adapter screw directly into 1/8 NPT, or does is go through the ASA fitting???

Confused :?

might make it steel or copper cheeseboy

The quick change adapter will come in two pieces; a cradle for the cartridge and an adapter to connect the cradle to the ASA. Screw the adapter onto an ASA first, then screw the cradle onto that.

Most ASAs have an output of 1/8" NPT, which can then be connected to normal pipe threads.

The adapter has a pin in it the punctures the CO2 cartridge when it is screwed down.

Excuse me?
I built a strafer around one a couple of months ago and am now in te progress of building a sawed-off pump action shotgun powered by 12 grams.

People do use them...you'll just have to know where to look!

Found it - adapter at http://www.totalpaintballgear.com/produ ... ter--.html

ASA to 1/8 NPT at http://www.palmer-pursuit.com/cart/inde ... cts_id=223

BTW - if I decided to use CO2 12 grams, it would be a back-up/portable system

You may see this one one of my guns soon

I've made a couple Cannons that are make completely of steep pipe except for PVC barrels that operate specifically on Co2 from refillable tanks such as 20oz tanks.
