Hey!
Well I'm new to these forums, and I don't know very much at all about spud guns.
I was wondering if as a combustion chamber for a 2 inch PVC pipe, I could use a square 4 1/2 inch see-through plastic container(where food is usually kept like peanut butter, that kind of plastic)? Or if there are any other very easy to find alternatives for a combustion chamber, because i dont have a PVC pipe thats the right size.
Thanks in advance,
Luc

DO NOT DO IT
use pipe, and you do not need to order it *rolls eyes* you can buy it at any hardware store, just make sure it is pressure rated. PVC is very cheap, and safer to work with, so just stick with a sure thing,

well its where the gasses expand, without it your spud would just sit there,
and if you mean why not just fill the area behind the spud with fuel, its because you need a large combustion to launch the potato, lots of pressure created that will blow the potato out the barrel

So you're saying that you cannot get your hands on any pipe/fittings with a diameter greater than or equal to 3" ?
