Here is one of my other cannons. It's just your basic piston cannon with all the pins and buttons you would expect. It's about 9' long total with a 7'X2" barell. Pegs off of bikes are my favorit ammo for it.

damn thats big. thoes pegs must be very destructive. i dropped on on my bear foot once and it hurt

i used a 3" coupling capped on both ends with a neaprene flap in the front.

all the 3" couplers from stores around my house are crappy and are way too small on one side and way too big on the other side

does the 3" cap fit trough a 4" female so the piston can be removed?

PVC arsenal: yes, it can be removed. The ID of the threads on a 4" female are ~4.3" diameter.

i made a coaxil but i didnt have a piston i used 4mm thick (i think) and just left about 10mm gap between it and the end cap and it never leaked and the best thing about it was i only had to fill it up i one spot through the end cap
