Is anyone else getting Google informing them that every search it turns up has a "This site may damage your computer" warning?

I need to know whether it's a problem with Google, or whether I've got something on my own computer I need to find and kill with extreme prejudice.

Don't worry, I've got it also. Comes up for everything, including google sites. Just use yahoo for a day or so, until it's fixed.

Phew - I was running spyware and virus checks left, right and centre trying to find out if it was anything wrong with my machine.

Well, now I know it isn't, I can relax again.

Yeah, that's sometimes google. The last time I started getting wierd problems with my computer I ended up losing everything to a group of turkish hackers. which is great because I'm greek  They even got on my rapid share weeks later and took out one of my emails. It was crazy. They had my diskdrive going in an out and after I restarted I couldn't do anything they even blocked out the settings in safemode!

Same thing happened to me while I was lookin for the syringe metering for that guy... Thought I had some nasty on my pc, but it was too late to run a check so I decided to wait and see what happened. Yahoo for a while I suppose.

Edit: @ JRR, I'm in aus, so it isn't UK specific.

It was pretty sudden. One search - fine. Few minutes later, everything is pinned with the tag.

Seems to be sorted here as well - well, as it's one of the most trafficked websites on the net, problems are going to get spotted and fixed very promptly.

Well, alert over it seems. We can come back from Defcon 2.* :tongue3:

*Yes, this is right. Defcon 1 is maximum alert, Defcon 5 is minimum. It's a common mistake that it's the other way around.
