Depends on how much you want to mod/trash the scope.
My reddot would have to be trashed pretty significantly to get the wires out of the battery compartment since the compartment cover is also the on/off and brightness control and the cover is a threaded aluminum cap.

Hmm the cap makes a connection between something right?
So what if you linked that straight through with a wire? Maybe you could leave the cap out.
