i am buying a spring airsoft shot gun off of ebay for 1.99 + 9.00 S and H. it has 250 fps and is listed as a replica of a shot gun for acting and stuff. i will most likely tale it apart and make it a co2 multi shot. i thought about just replacing internal parts with after market parts but decided against it because i like my air mag c11 so much. so my question is were can i get or how to make an adapter for 88 gram co2 tank. if i cant find one for a good price i will buy a tire filler that takes 12 grams for filling atv tires and use that. i would like to make it multi shot, if i have multiple bbs lined up in a barrel and and a hop system will the hop up do anything. one more thing can you get high off of co2? any ideas and aswers are highly appreciated

Use taps and dies on a lathe..
Either that or google and find one. And in case you were being serious, no, you can't get high off CO2. It's an asphyxiant, so basically the same as choking yourself. Unless that gives you enjoyment. At the most it will make you feel slow, queasy and sluggish.

the thing with getting high i was wondering because i put a co2 powerlet in my pistol and it didnt seal and it all shot up in my face. i was just a little off for a wile sluggish and lightheaded like what you said.
CO2 doesn't make you high at all, but it does have an effect. Firstly is the cough + gasp reflex, when you take a deep breath of high concentration CO2, you'll cough. It's very hard to resist, because it's a built in reflex.
Secondly, there is an adrenalin response - when there is a high concentration (compared to normal) of CO2 in the blood, the body will detect this and release adrenalin.
The US military experimented with it while they were looking into chemicals which made people uncontrollably afraid, but as you can imagine, didn't find it particularly practical or useful.

i completely forgot i was in wallmart yesterday and they sell 1 adapter and 1 88 gram tank for $10. i was thinking about getting a qev or making a 1/4" piston valve. just use a 1/4" ball valve as a regulator. i was wondering about the possibilities of making a mold of this shot gun and melting abs and pouring it in the mold. Because airsoft guns are made of abs plastic. how would you make a mold.

If melting ABS is the same as melting PVC, it won't end well... I'm not saying it wouldn't work, but when PVC is heated/melted it releases fumes, I think. But either way, you would need a heavy-duty gas mask, high levels of ventilation, and something like a kiln (if that is the word... Big Oven) to heat the ABS without fire. Maybe a more experienced member can help you further.

PVC in rigid pipe will soften, but not melt. It will become the texture of a plastic garden hose. When in that form, it can be "stretched slightly" or "bent" where it will re-harden when cooled.
On this page;
http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/i-need- ... 18086.html
I have an entry showing the breech of the Mouse Musket where a 1.5 inch female threaded adaptor is put in the end of a 2 inch pipe. This was done by softening the pipe and pushing it on the coupler.
If overheated, PVC scorches and burns, not melt.
I don't remember what ABS did. It didn't melt either.
HDPE and LDPE pipes do melt.

Get a large pot and boil water in it. Then submerse the ABS (with some out so you can get it back) in the hot water and let it sit for a little while. Pull it out and mold it by hand.
Try it with junk ABS first so you can get the hang of it.
That's what I'd guess, it works for PVC. Don't know about ABS though.
Anyway, I'd suggest using PVC and replacing the parts that have to be modified; it's more rigid and therefore will take more of a beating, not to mention that it is easier to soften and work (again, educated guess, as i have melted ABS, but never actually worked it.

you wouldn't need a gas mask if you melted 10 pounds of the stuff, as long as you've got the also-mentioned high levels of ventilation.. . . But either way, you would need a heavy-duty gas mask, high levels of ventilation, and something like a kiln . . .
