Their in the Plumbing ile of every hardware store in different sizes... If you live in the U.S I would suggest lowes or homedepot I've seen them there. For sites.... I'm not sure... I've heard of www.McMaster.com having many things, you might wanna try it.

Hope this helped (btw they cost a fair good amount of money so be prepared to spend 15 buck or more.... Now that I remember there are some adds here in the spud files site.... They where selling them really cheap (13 dollars I believe).

Yeah, sgort's site is selling 1 inch sprinkler valves for ~$13 USD. Its a great deal especially since they go for over $20 USD on some sites and stores...

And sgort will be happy about the plug.

They cost more than 20$ in every store I've seen.
Besides, there are various models that aren't as suitable to modifying.
Some stores ONLY carry that type.
I modded some 1" Rainbirds (IIRC) I had [obtained] on a drinking binge, that had guide rods, but that would be a pain for most people.

They work great, but I modded them with lamp pipe and JB weld. :P

Even if/when one moves on to piston valves, they make great pilot valves.
Wonder what the shipping price is for those(???) 8)

BTW, I might sell some of my extra stuff for dirt cheap soon.
(don't want to "step on anyone's toes" though)...  8)
