well here she is my first pnumatic cannon
im using basic pvc pressure pipe with a very loose ball vavle,i didnt have the time to look for a modded valve but all in all she works good...
ive fired it at a bunch of towles i had hanging on the cloths line at 80 psi, with a marble.. it went straignt threw five layers of towleing!!! i cant believe it........ the barrel is the perfect size for a marble ,,im now throwing my combustion cannon to the shitter and embarking on my pneumatic cannon journey..
just an update there are photos on page 2 and 3 for the sprinkler valve setup and shortend chamber

Hey, nice huge gun you have there!
Won't be able to say much, not a fan of pvc and huge guns, prefer small copper/steel ones.
Alright, the only think i can say is... I have the same bv as you! Im trying to make my mini bv handle position like a trigger and look like one, any plans of modding yours?
Cheers,
frozebyte
p.s. if you have any ideas of modding the valve you could reply to my spuddy junior unleashed topic, thanks!

cant say im a fan of mini weapons, but anyway as for modding a ball valve i dont think there is much u can do other than trying to wear out the seal so its not as tight and applying some grease/lube, and maybe a longer handle because leverage is ur friend...

Nope, your chamber is too massive for any reasonably sized suppressor to have a difference. If you hacked up a rubbish bin into a suppressor it might partly silence it.
Quite a nice gun..how about a piston?

No problemo.
Nice that you think that the YouTube video is crap. :director: I made it :angryfire: .
I made it on request to one of my videos and it took me about 1 hour to make.
It's not like you hurt my feelings... :crybaby:
Now seriously I don't care about that. Your comment gave me a laugh. :laughing3:

Nice little marble shooter. I agree with another post the chamber is way too big and past the point of diminishing returns. If you get a chance, pick up a copy of GGDT and calculate the volume of the chamber and barrel. You will find that most likely with the combination of that barrel and chamber, over 85% of the air is still in the chamber when the marble is out of the barrel. A barrel 1/3 the size or even smaller will provide close to the same performance and use only 1/3 the air or less per shot.
Since you barrel does unscrew, you may wish to try some other barrel sizes for larger projectiles.

looks great, ive worked with pneumatics myself before. May I suggest you use a modded sprinkler valve in the future, pneumatic or electric firing, much quicker opening time.
