i am planing on making a coaxial valved cannon in the near future, and i was wondering if the shape of the piston could improve performance at all.
is the curved piston going to be of any advantage? im assuming it would be but i could be wrong.

Call me a shameless pervert but the curved one looks like BEWBS!!!!! :D

You probably will get better performance but I doubt it will be so dramatic, to the extent that you'll need a chrony to measure the difference.

 didnt mean to make it look like that, i didnt even notice untill you pointed it out.
so not really worth all the stuffing around to make it with only a small performance boost... ok, i gues ill go the easy route :P

No need for the two semicircles, just a concave cone will increase power. However, the increase won't be realized without a chronograph.
