HAHAHA...

unfortunately I've driven to 3 hardware stores looking for a stupid flare elbow... and none of them have one.

So I think i'll have to order one offline... dammit... I was hoping to be firing it this weekend but doesn't look like that'll happen..

damn.

sorry to all... blame the hardware stores....

Hate to double post but this warrants it..

It is complete!!!!!

After waiting for a bloody week for a part to come in the mail.. its done. I know i started this like 2 months ago or whatever, but it is finally done now.

It looks like complete SH!T right now I know. I have to get a bondo job on the thing ASAP.

I removed the foregrip because i decided I wanted the undermount launcher closer to the actual gun- so THe foregrip is no longer there. The undermount will get mounted there somehow.

As you can see, i have a piece of brakeline running from the pressure washer handle to the tee. Some people might think this is ugly sticking way out there, but i actually like it for some reason.

Pretty much the entire vortex/barrel assembly is epoxied in place, JSR style so it better work the first time..

I didn't have time to take some very good pictures- these are just two i snapped before school this morning.

Testing results will come on Friday when I actually get home at a reasonable time and have time to do this.

Does anyone have good recommendations for a BB trap that will hold BB's propelled by unregged CO2?

Also, any fun target ideas?

I'll be sure to post the damage results as soon as I test this sucker out..

Nice! Some bondo would sure finish the job. Be sure to test it first though!

Either a phone book or semi thick piece of steel at a 45deg angle facing down into a bucket of water or sand.

A PC tower casing will do the job if performance is anything like mine.

yea... I know it is terribly ugly. That will be getting fixed. I'm contemplating forming a PVC shell to go over it as well- might look nicer than bondo.

I dunno. Right now I don't care what it looks like, i just would like to test it. it won't be tested earlier than friday as i won't get home at a reasonable hour tonight or tomorrow.

Also I just realized that the quick disconnects shouldn't be on the pressure handle... those are gone now.

I also may shorten up the pressure washer handle to make it more aesthetically pleasing

That's the dumbest design anyone has ever come up with!
What idiot ....oh wait..

:D

I love it!
Great to see you are still at it.Hope to see some good vids!
Can't wait to see it finished and with a working underslung.
That would be ubercool.

And I'm glad you are willing to chop the handle.
Maybe add an elevated sight?

Good luck with the bondo..remember..add..sand..add some more...sand..
Just keep at it untill everything is just the way you like it.

Elevated sight... not a bad idea.

The working underslung will probably be around .8-1" calibre, i'm hoping to make it fire buckshot rounds with small ball bearings.

It would have to be running on unregged CO2 of course... anything else is just... boring :D :D

I'm not going to worry about bondo for now... Im going to test it, get the undermount going, and then I actually am considering heating up some PVC and making a shell for it of sorts..

I dunno we shall have to see.

The handle does suck, the only problem is i will have to mod the internals a bit... its kind of retarded. I need to go out and buy a tap and die to do it.

But stay tuned for those damage pictures and videos!!

Ok testing is done and.....

It was a failure.

Co2 came outthe barrel but only a couple bbs. I think this might be because a) I don't have a suitable spring and b). They might not be getting directed into the elbow. I will have to tear it apart and see.

BTB - any ideas?

Apparently, not "up yours serviceability".

I hope you didn't listen to JSR (which you should never do, epoxy fumes killed a few brain cells, he doesn't know what he is saying) and can still open it up without doing too much damage.
