Hi just putting down some plans for my first air gun
so here goes:



32mm union ball valve as the "trigger"

2mts of 32mm 10BAR pipe

2 90 degrees pvc elbow 16Bar

and a 32mm cap to stop off the air.

Attachments/gadgets

Grip

pressure guage

Sling

and perhaps a breechloading mechanism (havent though about how i will construct this)

any thoughs or ideas will be greatly received

ETA on project : 20 april (im away for 2 weeks with the Air Cadets)

It should work fine, its simple so as long as there are no leaks ball valves work well, if you want more power you can always buy a QEV, or spring load the valve

Yep should work... I would suggest spring loading the ball valve. This will probably double performance...
Life's too short to mark off the items on your wish list...

if you are going to use a ball valve i would get a burst disk and spring-load the ball valve.

Why bother with a ball valve when you can get a sprinkler valve for 25 quid?

"Bob" are little people, (generally of male gender...but with some European ladies...when they don't shave, who can say quantitatively??? :roll: ), loosely resembling fairies or leprechauns, which in certain parts of Europe are traded for goods and or services....much like cash is used on this side of the pond. :wink:
