can you make a base out of white printer paper lay down the gun so we can see the insides, hold your BEST camera 1 meter above it (tripod is good) you had better leave it in full automatic, and turn the flash on and shoot. If its on a tri pod put it on count down mode.

if there is too much reflection of lustrous metal parts eg that spring, get a lamp with a cool white energy saving bulb and aim it at the gun.

take photos of both sides of the gun, all sides of the part.

i would like to see maybe 5 high quality photos here because right now.... i have NO idea what you are even taking a photo of... :S

It probably goes in the slot in front of the trigger, with the spring going on the knob that protrudes out of the front of the trigger.

At least that's what it looks like from the picture...

How are you guys not getting that the L shaped piece with the spring SEPARATE from the rest of the gun is the piece he is talking about?
I agree that it fits where is mentioned above.

as if!! the "L" part would over lap the piston catch (think whats what its called) if it goes under it then whats the point of it even being there?? also that protrusion is going downwards which will push the spring against the case, and if it did go there what purpose would it serve??

Maxa, does the gun fire without this piece??

You might be able to get a parts break down from the manufacture, look them up on line. Most have them available in the support sections of their websites.

As an Australian, and never having seen an airsoft gun in person, I agree with those saying that the mystery bit sits just above and in front of the trigger. I think the L shaped bit sits below the 'catch' (relative to us, not the gun), and the spring pushes up against the little bump on the trigger.

It seems that this would function to return the trigger back to where it's meant to be, rather than it just sitting wherever it's left.
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.

Did you not try putting it in the slot above the trigger, but with the spring towards the trigger? It looks like the most obvious place it could go.

Examining the top photo, I'm more inclined to believe the spring goes away from the trigger so the little flat part engauges the pin on the barrel. The spring would pop the piece into the trigger when the trigger is pulled tripping the catch at the barrel. When the mechanism is reset, then the trigger can return to the normal postion, but would be blocked right after fireing..

In my opinion, it fits in the slot above the trigger guard towards the muzzle of the gun with the spring and short flat piece away from the trigger. The flat piece engauges the pin on the barrel. The little flat pice is simply too long to fit the other way in there, but it is the right length to reach the barrel assy if put in with the spring forward. There is even a post for the spring to press against.

I'm guessing that cocking the gun will pull the piece forward allowing the trigger to return to the normal position and then the peice rests on the protrusion on the tirgger until the trigger is pulled again.

have you tried looking up the make and model online, usually exploded views are relatively easy to come by.
