Nice gun dude, I really like the bolt action, maybe a damage video?
Gunfreak, just beacasue 4" PVC should be used at 100 psi, it dosen't mean others sizes can't.
1/2" PVC, has a pressure rating of 650 PSI btw.

I know the rating of it.
The rating of 1" is somewhere around 450, no?
Just saying, it is always good to halve the rating, which would be slightly over 200 psi. So if you want to cut it close, go right ahead man, I'm not stopping ya.

well i could, but my only problem with a blow gun is its extremely low flow even when modded. i may pick up a 200psi pop-off next time i go to the hardware store.
edit: Sorry the BOOM missed your comment. Damage video will have to wait until school end, exams are killing me and my bike pump and co2 died
and yes, 1" is rated at 450 psi

Ehh, looks good although I have to say when I saw musket I imagined something with wood stock and brass, aluminum or copper barrel. but this looks very clean and well built.
Yeah, it's that important.

I'm just calling it a musket because it is a smooth bore stocked weapon, and calling it a sniper would give judge and sthorne a heart attack

I have an update, I'm out of school and have had some time to improve on this launcher, I added sights and a removable choke on the end of the barrel. The sights are fully adjustable. The pilot has also been simplifyed so that this gun may take 200 psi. I know some people don't trust PVC that hig, but lets look at the information: 1" PVC-450 psi RATED, 1" SV has been tested by noname to over 200 psi; the only reason that they are 150 psi rated is because the original diaphragm.

Here's some pictures

Cool, I would debur those sights, and I think the thingy on the end of the barrel is called a muzzle break, not a choke, but that may be another name for it.

It is a choke, a choke is used on shot guns and some pellet rifles. It is a little smaller than the rest of the barrel so it tightens the spread

yea, i just didn't think it was very interesting. Basically a made 4 vertical cuts down the pipe. To pinch them together, forming the choke, I just put the one inch pipe over it.

or small rocks, like gravel
Another advantage of the choke is that it strips away the shell tha the bbs are in. I have had time wher the whole paper shell has remained intact and hit stuff fairly hard. This is the main reason i have never used one in airsoft.

So is it used as a shotgun or do you have a uniform solid slug to fire? I think it would be interesting to have a single-shot to see what kind of range it has.
