Does anyone know where I can get good looking 1/8th inch fittings? Specifically air fittings. I'm recycling my Supah + into a smaller and more portable cannon since I sold my 20LB CO2 tank a couple years ago.
The new one is going to be on-board CO2 and I'm using hoses instead of pipe.

what do you mean by good looking? I have found pretty much every 1/8" fitting I need made from brass at my local hardware store.

I can find the ones I need at the local ACE, but brass gets boring sometimes. And I'd feel cheap using brass when the regulator alone for this build cost ~$100.

At my ace we have 1/8th" galvanized fittings, but they're kinda ugly... brass fittings are pretty expensive too... if you WANT to spend a lot of money, buy chrome fittings. May be hard to find in 1/8" though.shadowwalker wrote:I can find the ones I need at the local ACE, but brass gets boring sometimes. http://www.mcmaster.com/ has every pipe fitting imaginable if you're willing to pay more than your local hardware store.
Feel cheap using brass? Then exactly what type of fittings are you after? Gold, maybe? Seriously, brass looks fine and if you want to spend more money for a fitting that what it's worth (i.e. you can find a cheaper alternative) then brass is the choice.
Perhaps you could use Google to find some stainless steel fittings somewhere. I'm sure they'll cost a little bit of money.

Exactly what I was thinking. Brass looks good already...Hubb wrote:Feel cheap using brass? Then exactly what type of fittings are you after? Gold, maybe? Lots of 1/8 inch paintball fittings are chrome-y looking. I'm not sure what they're made of though...
Life's too short to mark off the items on your wish list...
Could well be chrome plated brass. Plated brass fittings are pretty common.deathbyDWV wrote:Lots of 1/8 inch paintball fittings are chrome-y looking. I'm not sure what they're made of though...
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?
Most paintball fittings are brass that are coated. Some of them are stainless steel, but those are usually marker specific.

Yeh, chromed brass fittings are common. I found some to use on my co-ax (originally thinking they were stainless).
Stainless fittings are really your next option..Nothing wrong with brass IMO.
