I wanted to ask you guys for ideas on what to shoot with a 15mm barrel, apart from potatoes? Batteries with some tape around them work great but i dont feel like wasting them around the forest as they are special waste(is it called that?).
Oh, and i have yet to try marbles.

I'm guessing your using 15mm copper right?
Well i've searched high and low but have found few things.
Your best bet just making screw darts.
Make a paper cone, cut it to fit in the barrel, And screw a screw in with the head facing out.

It depends whether we're talking about ID or OD.Not if he's talking about AA batteries
Though 15mm OD copper pipes here have ID of 13mm - so most AA batteries fit them perfectly

here they just give OD and wall thickness (or ID) in mm so I can't tell

Yes its 15MM copper, and i meant AAA batteries when talking about my ammo. I definetly have to try the paper dart thing.
@POLAND_SPUD I dont know about your batteries but AA doesnt fit my barrel. However, i saw some french dude use AA batteries in his 15MM barrel(he told it in the video comments). So i wonder if some companies produce different sized AA batteries?

As the "AA" is a standard definition of the size I doubt that.Easter Egg wrote:So i wonder if some companies produce different sized AA batteries?

More probably, he used a different measurement. If his was an internal diameter measurement, then it would fit AA batteries. As 15mm copper is an outer diameter, the two wouldn't be the same size internally.

some AA batteries are exactly 12.7mm while others (mostly cheaper ones) are 13mm or larger

Odd, AA batteries are normally more like 13.5 or 14mm. And that includes the crazy expensive disposable lithium ones I sometimes use for my camera. Cost about 10 times what normal batteries do. (On the upside, I've been using the same set since July, and they're still not even half way to flat.)POLAND_SPUD wrote:some AA batteries are exactly 12.7mm while others (mostly cheaper ones) are 13mm or larger
@FighterAce: UK pipe sizes (being metric) are not equivalent to US sizes.
But as a rough rule, if compared to their closest diameter Imperial neighbour, they generally fall somewhere between M and L in dimensions.
They've been worked differently though, so don't assume complete equivalence of working pressures.

It's been a LONG time since I took a look at this site, but I bought a .395 Lee round ball mold from ebay, and cast MANY bullets. It does fit perfectly in a 12mm copper tube. And I think they are also avalible for 15mm copper tube. Also it's very useful to make buckshot. I call it 10×10 buckshot. 10 bullets of 10mm in a 26mm copper pipe with 40 bars of pressure
