The last few Month's I've been making a New gun and for this first time today i fired it. i placed the rest against my shoulder and fired.
300psi blew a ball bearing through my target 2x wood than steel fence, and the power, had Hit the 4x32 scope into my eye socket as hard as a punch.

Once i rubbed my eye and checked the target i saw in the mirror what it had done.

The gun i s not finished so no images as of yet.

Well obviously your gun punches like a girl, otherwise you'd look like you were half raccoon.

My Gaitoraid shot left a much larger bruise. Due to the location, i didn't take photos of the bruise. I should have removed my keys from my pocket. I walked with a limp for a couple days afterward.

I seen with my own two eye's a man named John one of my father's best friends shoot his 300 magnum resting his back against a tree and pulled the trigger. Because of the tree not allowing his head to move the scope hit him in the eye. It was a half circle cutting a chunk out of his nose and eye brow, nearly putting his eye out. Worst eye damage I've ever seen...

Be carefull shooting with scopes, learn from John's mistake.

Haha, I have a scar in my forehead that gave me the nickname "Harry Potter" guess why it's there?

I shot a shotgun with a scope, it was the first time I ever fired a shotgun with a scope and I was resting my elbows on a car hood and that made my head come closer to the shope then it should be.
I pulled the trigger and felt the scope hitting me in the face but it wasn't bad at all. Atleast I found the fact that there are atleast 1/3" of flesh on your forehead :P

Actually it was a quite funny experience since I had been mocking my dad for doing the exact same ting ages ago. He was there at the time and my first comment was "About time I inherited that scar!"

Your didn't get any cuts though, I actually think it's worse to take a punch like that if the skin stays intact because I couldn't feel a thing.

:D Reminds me of a series of photos I saw once titled "Somewhere in this photo there is a car" Ladies see the car right away. Most men have trouble finding the car.

Image

Look very carefully, there is a car somewhere in that photo.

Hint, it's black and has wheels.
