I think it's really screwed up how any and every company fluff's up when the president pays a visit. If it were my company he would get and see exactly what the employee's get and see, no fluff, no sugar coating!
How long did things take to get back to normal after the president left?

Tactical corsets... for men?
Glamoflauge?!?!
The more I trawl through the internet, the more appealing I find the suggestion to "pump public buildings with poison gas and re-start the country from scratch".

Most of the activity was before the visit. Every corner was dusted. Every scratch in the paint was fixed. The floors polished to a high gloss. Logos added everywhere. Burnt out lights replaced..jrrdw wrote:I think it's really screwed up how any and every company fluff's up when the president pays a visit. Time to go back to normal, not long. The floor polish has faded and the lights in the hallway outside the fab already has a bulb burnt out.
I'm not sure how long it took to clean the fab with a full wipedown of the area he entered in his suit. I expected him to at least put on a polyester smock in the fab.
I think the best part is that Paul Otellini expected to be advising the President on job creation. I don't think buying a bunch of stuff and destroying it is in the advice.
http://www.techzone360.com/topics/techz ... uncil.htm#Following a visit to Intel Corp.’s semiconductor manufacturing facility in Hillsboro, Ore., President Barak Obama is expected to name Intel CEO Paul Otellini to an advisory council responsible for promoting economic growth and job creation in the U.S.
Boosting the auto industry by destroying cars makes as much business sense as going through town breaking windows and paying for them just to create work for the window shops. Especially if the money for paying for the replacement windows comes from taxes you take from the businesses and community.
Cash for clunkers is based entirely on the broken window fallacy.

Hopefully a way to grow wealth and jobs instead of destroying wealth will start to take hold.

If the "Broken Window Fallacy" holds true, (makes sense to me) that means every time a spudder launches a potato that takes away a position for someone to ask "You want fries with that?"!

Use hydraulic hose. The water hose is designed for domestic water pressure. I would not use it over 200 PSI. The flat rubber washers lacking fiber or metal inserts will blow out. The barbs and crimps are not built to hydraulic crimp standards and the ends may blow off. Either failure at high presssure is not safe with compressed gas.
Safety first. I plan on enjoying my retirement with both eyes and all my fingers. Do you want your eyes, ears and fingers in retirement? If so think safety.

I know SB15 used a few on his hybrid for fueling, but that isn't 500 psi. I wouldnt reccomend it...
