Hammer valves.
I don't think you've read my post.
I read your post.
The impression I was taking was that you were saying you needed a 3 way valve as the primary valve to do any of the things the originally posted gun was doing.
Now, I don't think you're making a meaningful point.

oh crap
did you see the chronograph 770 fps it say they will have a pressure release valve but with easy super glue your rifle could shoot that
It's decided i must buy one

you wrote
I read your post
but you responded with
Hammer valves
Even though I wrote
Even if you've got a simple BV pneumatic you still need a check valve or another ball valve to fill the chamber - so you can't say that there is just a 2 way valve
This is true even for hammer valves - first you have to fill the chamber - and again that requires a valve... so you need that one and a hammer valve
making a meaningful point
you're doing it wrong

I missed that you mentioned hammer valves.
But that was actually nothing to do with what I meant.
However re-reading it, you're talking about simplifying pneumatics as a 3-port valve.
Which was in reply to al-xg saying 3-way valves venting air was wasteful.
I picked up the wasteful bit - which you were not replying to at all despite quoting it - and mention hammer valves.
Hence the confusing reply.

I imagine they might have had the common sense to use a more sophisticated valve than that. Just off the top of my head, I can think of three ways of designing it so that jamming the pressure release would stop the whole thing working.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

Its supposedly closed bolt, so I would guess a system like legion shocker;

I also believe that the price may keep this from becoming to mainstream or widely used. Many airsofters have become to used to cheap aegs to be willing to shell out for something like this.
Thanks to the internet, I know everything about everything exept how to actually do anything.
