semi auto bb gun
Jimmy on spudtech had posted an interesting picture of a possible mechanism for a semi auto gun, i thought it might be a good project so i
dug out a box of compression fittings, some brakeline, a blowgun and some epoxy and went to work, about a half hour later i had the whole thing together, it didnt cost me a penny and it works great. everything is just screwed on like normal, except for one end of the copper tubing which needed to be epoxied to the outer lip of a compression nut to allow the tubing adapter and spring to move inside of the tee.
i am now working on several other versions including Paintball, Marble, 1" Superball, and possibly Golf Ball

do u think you could give the url to jimmy's post, im trying to understand how this thing works. so when you open the valve the plunger is moved forward and that stops the other ammo from droping,ok, and the air flows throught the plunger propeling the ammo, but wouldnt the air be restricted from the small hole giving crap power?? is that how it works at all??
Edit: crazy portobility idea, is there a way you could mount a really small reg under the blowgun and put a 12g co2 o it and make it like super super portable?

thats how it works walrus, but the performance isnt that bad, the flow is reduced just about 1/8" if that. yeah, i'm planning on using my co2 hookup on this, or i'll get an old fire extinguisher so i can use the valve on the extinguisher instead of the blowgun, and i can fill the extinguisher to 200psi (the one i'm looking at is rated past that)

ok, well this is kind of on topic, i know u big sized this gun for paintballs, but what did u use to replace the magnet, did u just not use anything to hold the ammo?

im having some trouble understanding some of the design. is the plunger just like free flowting through the gun between the elbow and the t, whats stopping it if its not, do u think u could give me the url to jimmy's post for a explination, and maybe a parts list with sizes and such. this is just irritating me

Edit2: ok solved my plunger in t Q, but did u remove the sleeve things inside the T?? or did urs even have sleeve things??

and the mg part would be bad because...
is it effecient that way? without a bolt i mean, just gravity or a magnet dragging them into the barrel
