Hey Spudfiles, I've been a member on this website for quite some time now, but I'm just now getting around to building and posting a cannon. I'm so happy with the result of my work. It's taken maybe 2 or 3 months to complete this due to my lack of planning and just building as I was going along . It also took some time to get some parts in the mail. This is my second cannon, but my first advanced one. Both of them are combustion due to my love of explosions .

Here are the specs:
Chamber: 18"x4" Sch40 pressure rated PVC
Barrels: 60" sdr 21 tennis ball barrel and a 72"x2" sch40 PVC barrel
fuel source: 10" propane meter pipe (usually ran at 50-55 psi)
fan: 80mm cpu fan wired to 2 9v batteries and toggle switch
ignition: push button bbq ignitor wired to push button switch
ammo: tennis balls, soda cans, potatoes and whatever else i feel like 8)

I haven't measured its range or muzzle velocity and tennis balls don't due to well for damage pics, but it shoots pretty far. I've been gather info from this site for a while now and I think I put all of it to good use. thanks spudfiles

looking good, its nice to see a full sized well executed advanced combustion again. Before the dwv police come ill just let you know the elbows look like they are short socket dwv fittings. That seems to bug a lot of people here but for me as long as it works and youre safe while using it, it doesnt matter.

Yea the elbows are dwv. I know they'll frowned upon because they aren't pressure rated but I had already waited so long on some parts to come in the mail so i kinda didn't want to wait any longer.

Thanks! I'm happy you like the results. It did cost a bit especially when I take into account all the parts I bought that i ended up not even using.

DWV parts are generally ok for 1x combustion guns and bbmgs. Cleanout caps and cellular core pipe are the only things you should worry about, but I don't see either of those.

Thanks for all the positive replies. I'm thinking of painting it, i just need to figure out what kind of paint to use because I've heard that you need a specific type of paint. But I'll get on it and I'll update the post when I get around to it. Also there's just something about large combustion thats just awesome.

Krylon fusion is pretty popular because it sticks well to pvc

Nice setup very well thought out and put together. If you paint it, listen to Jor2daje and get that fusion paint. I used cheap asss Family Dollar special buck a can spray paint on my cannon and it came out really sheitty and had more runs than you could imagine.

All paint runs if you use way too much... Krylon Fusion is supposedly very good, but I've had good luck with something like this.

Try fill a tennis ball with pennies for damage

i found krylon fusion to be worth every penny for painting PVC pipe.

Rustoleum works as well, but it tends to scrape off easier than "kyrlon fusion for plastics" I found Rustoleum paint to be very thick, even with a controlled spray in the hands of a accomplished spray painter.

Also, krylon dries to the touch in 15 minuets..... which is nice if you are impatient like me. lol. they say "fully dry in 1 hour."
