He's getting pressure build up in the chamber and a release when he pilots the valve so the porting hook up is correct. The problem is in the valve itself.
Here's a trick that may solve the leak in the valve. Hook up the air supply (doesn't matter which one they both are working), submerge the cannon in water then pump up the chamber. If it seals you either needed lubrication or the sealing face was dirty.
If this doesn't work I think you have a bad QEV.
Edit: streetfire kinda beat me to it lol.

About the submersing thing? If you're a moderator you should know who posted about it first!jrrdw wrote: Here's a trick that may solve the leak in the valve. Also, my QEV allows pressure to build up when the pilot and barrel are swapped, but it wont fire that way.
So if it fires, even just a little bit, i would think it is hooked up correct.
The best way, would be to plug the barrel port, with a metal threaded plug, and then place in a bathtub, like everyone has said ,to see where it leaks.
EDIT: by the second video, i can almost promise you have a pilot leak.
Probably in the blow gun.
How tightly did you thread all the fittings on? They need to be pretty darn tight, and have a good 2-3 wraps of Teflon tape. IMHO

The seat is the "round" part sticking out the end...where he has attached the barrel....it's threaded in.
X2
Thin smear of grease on the seat may not be a bad idea to at least try.
