crosman co2 phantom valve

If you cant figure that out i don't think you should be playing with ungred co2.

I can figure that out ignorant swine, my question was how to do it safely without losing excess pressure. I already knew what I was gonna do before i ever started this thread. I just did it to see if you guys had any better advice or if yall have even played with these valves. The only guy who remotely helped is cammyd32 and I already theorized doing what he said.


So anyways Im just gonna press fit a tube about halfway down the middle valve stem, that will allow the valve to open a little more than halfway, thus decreassing the crazy ass pressure output.

thanks cmmyd, gun freak ive told you already that im trying to actuate the valve without loosing excess pressure, meaning i need a damn good "trigger" seal, i was asking advice if anyone had any ideas

In that case... would an o-ring work? Not quite sure by the photo where the leak is.

i was thinking about an oring but it would pop out due to the pressure. you could say use a tight fitting wide gasket type oring but you must remember that the tube is the trigger and therfore it will have to easily slide back and forth against this "oring/gasket" and i dont see that possible having an airtight seal with such little friction

Im not sure, i know most glues wont even tough pot metal lol idk about epoxy though. That still doesnt help with the tube that needs to slided back and forth through the oring though, but thanks for the suggestion

It looks to me like an oring can be glued on the part where the pipe slides through, so that the pipe slides trough the oring. Shouldn't be too much friction if you get the right size oring, and you can fasten it with super glue.
