semi auto with rifle rounds would be difficult because they would most likely tumble in the mag

I've not heard about that. A moderator has already overseen the thread, I think he would have said something about it earlier. If I am breaking he forum rules, my apologies. But to answer your questions about the projectile blooming to catch the rifling, I found these fishing sinkers that are exactly .366 and have a hollow rear end to allow blooming. Coincidence? Anyway, back to the drawing board. I'm trying to find a 9mm magazine to convert for the rifle. Shouldn't be hard. If you guys have any more suggestions or constructive criticism, please speak up. It's my first large project, I don't want to wreak havoc. :P

EDIT: I'm concerned about the air pressure equality. For the mkIII and other semi-autos, if the pressure is being released over and over again, will it not get significantly weaker with each shot taken?

yes
though if you add a regulator the pressure will stay the same intil it drops below the setting on the reg

ohh and if you chanber is large enough or you got a really large air reservoir this isn't such a big deal

Regarding the regulator, can you send me a link or a diagram to show me what I'm looking for? Thanks.

Ok, so here's the picture.

EDIT!!!:
Scratch all that junk. I broke the bolt. Back to square one. I think I'm going to use the mkIII design, if I can make the QEV correctly. The mag well is going to be on the left side, hanging off of the receiver. It's going to accept .32 ACP magazines. The receiver is going to be in the barrel, since it's the easiest way to go. I'll design a small plunger to fit the .366" ID of the barrel. Can someone show a design of a homemade QEV I can use?
