Semi Auto Airsoft feed
So i have a qev and slide valve getting to my house soon, and am hoping to make a semi auto airsoft gun. anyone have ideas about how to get a semi auto loading mechanism fairly easily without a lathe/mill? Or even better, one without moving parts?

I'll be drawing one up this weekend.. It's JUST like Sokauo's loading system, and I'm sure with some scrounging that you'll be able to find the materials.. can you wait until Saturday?lklaussen wrote:So i have a qev and slide valve getting to my house soon, and am hoping to make a semi auto airsoft gun. anyone have ideas about how to get a semi auto loading mechanism fairly easily without a lathe/mill? My loading system design will prevent them, and will be quite efficient..lklaussen wrote:How would I prevent double feeds?

In theory it should work like that.
As long as the part of the magazine which contacts the barrel is the same diameter as the projectile, and the spring pushing the BBs isn't too hard, you shouldn't get double feeds.

That's the idea, air pressure fires the one in the breech down the barrel but pushes the rest up the magazine. It's important therefore that the magazine is a close fit in diameter to the BBs, otherwise too much air will get behind the BBs and pressurise the magazine.lklaussen wrote:So the air pressure also pushes down the airsofts in the magazine so only one shoots?

Use a stronger spring..lklaussen wrote:Got the valves working and a t mag made, but each time it shoots 2-4 bbs per shot unless the pressure is at like 5 psi, then its one per shot.
