well i got a 50 mm outer barrel to sleeve nicely over 40 mm barrel
and a prototype grenade cartridge made up
i still need to do a few jobs on it such as glueing and shaping some pieces but overall the barrel is mostly done

this is the inner barrel unassembled

update: i fixed on a thing to make the grenade cartridges fit centred

and attached a small fan to the receiver end of the cannon
