Its a handle grip, helps gripping the handle thus making the fire cycle faster. It looks awesome on the 97k and i think it will perform very well

97k is very good rifle, has enough power and the accuracy is devastating
EDIT: hmmm, that Whiscombe stock looks very nice, wonmder if it would fit to my 97k hmmm... Thinking of making new stock to it ATM, ideas?

I really like the stocks on 97k's although knowing your work yours would be a very nice looking stock.
