Looking good range should be better than that, drag coefficient will be much less, as will projectile diameter, I want at least one kilometreA small estimate
Here's some properly proportioned views of the dart, tail fin is acetal, body is PVC, I drew the nose cone as brass but I will probably make it from acetal and hollow it out to fit a lead weight.

You have to take it apart, look at the board and see how the components are attached. Say you have a capacitor, is it attached strongly enough that its own inertia compared to the acceleration of the board itself will not cause it to rip off? All it takes is one broken connection to make it fail.
