Like my M60 shells you just build a casing that will fit into the barrel most of the way and have a larger end cap with a hole in it on the end.
For the other open end you dry fit you ammo. Tracer, solid shot, armor piercing etc.

I'm not sure WTF you are talking about... but you should now that "tracer" rounds that contain incendiaries are against the rules of this site.

I dont know WTF you are talking about either, but i do know that you can make a tracer with a glow stick and a sabot, and those aren't against forum rules. try not to flame the noobs, since i came here there have been too many people that have left because of abusive members that were high in rank
in the upcoming presidential election, there will be several candidates who will be running, one of whom is Hillary Clinton. Now WAIT A SECOND!!! I though there was some sort of rule that prevented someone from serving more than two terms in office. Vote Against Hillary: Presidential Elections 08

I wasn't flaming him... I know very well that you can make "tracer" rounds without incendiary means but in the context of "Tracer, solid shot, armor piercing etc." it sounds a little suspect to me.
But for the sake of not being judged an asshole, I will remove the anti-noob text from my post.

It's kinda like a real casing on an on an artillery shell. And the "tracer" I'm referring to is a glowstik. When I get pix I'll upload them.

It’s loaded into a 3" breach up to the 1 1/2" part witch normally has an o-ring or rubber bands to seal it. Also you'll notice that in one of the pictures there is a hole in the bottom of the shell. When fired the air travels into the shell attains a high enough pressure a then all of a sudden it just let’s go. It's kinda like a when you forget to glue a joint in this case the "joint" is the projectile. The smaller shell is a grenade from my grenade launcher! When shot at 3/4" plywood or board these shells will penetrate as though it doesn't exist.
