i want it to be pretty short , and the highest psi i can go to is 125. i was thinking burst disk was the way to go but if anybody has any suggestions i would appreciate it.

Burst disks will work but they can be a pain making, sealing and installing; probably not suited for paintball combat. I can't really think of anything that would fit under a paintball gun barrel, if that is what you're looking for.

A compact design would be a 2" chamber coaxial piston valve with 1.25" barrel. It limits how many paintballs can be in the shotgun round but it would be quite compact, easy to pump up and have the required performance.

ok thanks i will give i a try, i really want some kind of pre-charged catrige that i could load though. i while also make one for airsoft if that changes anything.

EDIT: i have decided to make it 12" long, also i want to use the co2 i am using for the paintball gun, for the grenade launcher with some kind of regulator that would handel that high of pressure and lower it to 80 psi
