If it weren't so expensive I might get one of those stocks... Maybe I can find one on eBay.

He is also a pyrotechnic specialist and a good friend, but thanks for the input. His girlfriend will have a laugh. Maybe we can get the guy from Future Weapons next time...
Mr. Crowley. Yes, yes and yes. I just submitted to the Marine core and Navy today and have been in talks with a number of other countries. I am about to make a few more for distributors and hope to seal our first big military deal before winter.
The launcher in the drawings as you can see has a cover over the indexing mechanism and can also have a cover over the entire cylinder. This allows the launcher cylinder to be against a wall and still rotate.
I accidentally posted an older edit that has a few issues at the end. I will edit the post when we finish the fixes.

Depends on pressure and ballast size. I can get about 10 shots at full speed but am trying to tweek the ballast until I can get a full 12 before it slows down too much. I prefer using a high pressure carbon fiber tank that is good for 40 shots or more. The tank stock is nice though and keeps a working system available on the launcher that is compact. at 200psi from a 3000psi source I get about 1 shot per cubic inch.PaperNinja wrote:If it weren't so expensive I might get one of those stocks... It would be pretty cool to have a hose line going to a larger tank backpack, though not sure how practical that would be for law enforcement. 10 shots isn't at all bad and judging from the video it looks as if you can quickly chuck on a new tank if needed.

The cam is based on the Mauser 1878 Zig-Zag. The problem with the Webley-Fosberry cam is that it indexes 30 degrees on each throw. I need the initial piston throw to maintain the position of the cylinder bore to the barrel until after the shot is fired.[/img]

Our cylinder does not have the anti-personnel mine feature though...
I can't seem to find a picture, but I have seen an arrow launching machine from antiquity that uses a log with grooves cut in the outside of it and the action of the bow drives it.
The original Eclipse had a mini version of the cam drive, but this way is much more precise. So many details in tuning it...
The ballast has a threaded rod inside that holds plastic washers to decrease the ballast size. I am opening up the flow from the paintball regs and increasing the pressure while decreasing the volume until there is a drop in performance below 200fps with a 32 gram projectile at standard flow.
275 psi gives us a decent shot and fast recharge. The low setting is also still effective at this psi. The gun operates the mechanical blowback around 180 with the piston and springs we are using.

ohh and why don't you put some sort of cover on top of that slide? Been playing with aircylinders a lot and they've got enough force to crush fingers or break stuff
