More seriously, what you're seeing on the video... presumably this...

...is one of the fins of the dart breaking away on impact (as it's designed to do) and does not have the penetrator attached.

I'll give it to you that we're used to water jugs disintegrating with some vigour when hit, but given the penetrator bears a passing resemblance to the ammunition for the APS underwater rifle, penetrating water quietly and efficiently is no great surprise.

The major difference with the second shot was that the penetrator did not hit straight on. It had been bent by its impact with the concrete beneath the target and had deflected sideways into the jug, so the result that time was major cavitation.

Ours do at least 366 fps because that's the minimum velocity to be Canada legal ;)

Never seen a WE M4 so I can't compare, from the WE we do have they are not the best brand in my view. I recently had to mill out some SMG-8 ("MP7") magazines because they weren't correctly milled and not clicking into the mag well.

The G&G GBBRs have plastic bodies and rails, definitely no comparison to the KJ Works one but at less than half the price, you get what you pay for. Mechanically though we don't really have issues with them and the recoil is quite satisfying.

Yeah, just read some reviews about it... Plastic rails hum...
WE GBBR open bolt are great, everyone I have handled (M4, scar and ak) are simple to dissemble and solid metal parts.
I'm getting a G&G M4 then, any particular model you recommend? This is what I'd choose, says 350 fps, kind weak for my taste...

Take your pick, they're all the same inside  remember that the "raider" models have plastic rails, decent plastic mind you but still plastic.

Edit: the one you linked to might be metal, we don't have that particular one in stock.

Googled the description, metal rails.
But says it's for low/medium range duo to the 350 fps... I'm looking for one for SPR... Damn.
Only found the AEG version of this gun on YouTube donno why :s

Nice :D
Is there an option to have two languages on a fanpage ?? I am asking because it seems that having just one in French might not be very attractive for customers other than those who actually speak French. You pretty much limit yourself to Canada, France and some former French colonies (just realised that Canada is technically also a former French colony lol). Though on the other hand, some of those former colonies have warlords and dictators - so yeah now the goldplated tommy gun makes perfect sense

The next logical step is to set up a YT channel for some show off vids of your merchanidise 8)

Anyway, I said I'd make more darts, so here's an early stage of manufacture, fins still very unfinished.
CIMG0213-800.jpg
These are ultimately a very heavily dumbed-down version of the long range darts I was engineering years ago. They haven't the same sophistication or precision, but the crudest principles regarding how the fins are designed to work are the same.

Still, they suffice for getting something very pointy to go very fast, so I can't complain too much.

But how will you fit in it if it's much, much smaller? :?

... actually, no, you being a Lilliputian would explain the size of a lot of your creations.

To be honest, I haven't updated most of my signatures in years.

Except the one on a given tabletop wargaming forum, which I changed to a link to a picture of one of the game's mercenary characters in his Y-fronts. I think I was making a statement about a particularly impractically dressed female miniature they had recently brought out, but even I'm not sure what I'm thinking half the time.

Well, I actually hit the target all three times today (not too bad when it's only about 6cm square), although all were glancing hits and no decent target penetration occurred.

Still, got some reasonable impact sparks for my troubles (particularly on the second test):
