I need to convert this solenoid valve to pnuematic, but it is slightly different to the Orbit one that everybody uses...
I'll add a couple more pics to explain the inner workings

The principle is the same... Drill a hole in the cover and tap it to accept a threaded pilot valve/plumbing.
You can just leave the solenoid attached or remove it and plug the hole with epoxy.

If I seal the hole in the diaphram, how will the pressure from the main chamber equelize to the small chamber above the diapham to keep it closed? Else it's only the spring keeping the valve closed, or am I missing something...?
