fail stock, new templete
fail stock, new templete
Hello, this is my second work since I posted it last time.
(If it includes the failure, it is the third one.)

The improvement of this work is

-to reduce the size of the slide valve
-try to get rid of the air leakage as much as possible
-Barrel's outer diameter is thicker, the inner diameter is thinner

I also considered the nice design and convenience, So I choose SPR A1.

I bought black material(포맥스) because it was annoying to paint.

And the bullet mainly uses it and the dart with nail and paper,
and the air tank is the same, so it uses low pressure of about 80-120 psi

Did you make the slide valve spring loaded? If not that's quite a heavy trigger pull.
Apart from that, damn fine rifles, whats the stock made of?

Hi wyz2285, Thanks for the comments.

I do not know what the slide valve spring is talking about.
If you are referring to a spring that puts the slide valve back in place, I did not install it.
The trigger only pulls the slide valve back. Back in place is manual

The stock was made of a plastic sheet called 포맥스.

I started seeing your work on YouTube for the first time and I am very grateful for it.

I have used these slide valves, they get very hard to pull once you use some decent pressure through them (above 100 psi) and throw off your aim when you shoot.
I mean if you put a spring in front of the slide valve and the trigger just to lock it in place so when you shoot the trigger pull just frees the valve slide and the spring pushes it back. you should have more consistent shots

Oh, I understood what you mean. Does that mean that the spring pushes the slide valve instead of pulling the trigger backward?
Because the slide valve is small and the travel distance is short, the trigger pressure is very light. Of course, using the spring method will allow a more consistent and stable shot, but I have found a simple structure because of my limitations.

Thanks for the advice :D

is the trigger directly connected to the slide valve? or is there some sort of level system in there?

Looking good, you should make a little tutorial on how to put these stocks together because the effect is very professional and it doesn't look too expensive to put together.

포맥스 is PVC foam board? Also called Fomex or Foamex?

The pvc foam board is right, called fomex.

The thickness is 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 (mm), and I cut the sheet using the cutter knife no matter how thick.
However, this is not cut at once, so it takes a lot of time and hurts my hand because I have to put the same position several times.
I would have liked to use a jigsaw or a jigger, but I chose a quiet, dust-free knife because I made it in my room or apartment without a workshop.
And the knife seems to be more suitable for delicate work.

The tutorial ... I'll try to think twice. When I made it, I had to cut the same shape so hard that I could not figure out how to take pictures during the making.

Thank you for your attention. :D

I like it. It looks great ! :bounce:
A doubt .... what is it that shoots? I mean, what do you use as a projectile?

Thx! :D

Here is the best answer ...
I can use everything that goes in Barrel as a projectile.

Usually, I use Nerf or homemade dart.
