So do you turn it on for a brief second after inserting your fuel? Then again after the shot?

Im So Very new to this and the only gun i have made so far is a pill bottle mini. Now this question might seem dumb to most if not everyone here but for me its a serious question. What keeps the fan from burning or getting damaged in the chanber?

now all in all, how much did this cost?

My buddy and I made 2 identical
3:18 chamber
2:36 barrel
looks almost identical to yours except no fan
the two together cost roughly $45
