Woah guys calm down. Ok look at it this way.

Double Posting = Bad. A warning about it is fine, so is editing the posts into one post. However Pimpman there was no need to curse about it to someone totally new. There are swear filters for a reason on here.

SkunkWerX, when you demanded a title change, when I read it for the first time (which was a few seconds ago) it didn't come across as a joke. I know what you mean now, but i'm sure Pimpman read it like I did the first time and posted on anger thinking your some punk tryin to demand things.

We should all love eachother here, this was just a misunderstanding.

BTW moderators can't change titles, only I can, or you buy the title change in the store with the SpudBux you earn.

I was seriously going to make a donation as i was now a member and getting use from this site.
Had second thoughts since getting cursed at last night.

I might be willing to make you a trade (not to be construed as a demand). I'll make a modest donation to help keep this decent site running, In return, change my title to Gunnery Sargeant?

On second thought, no trade, simply change it to "Punk".
That would be appropriately funny.

oops, In an effort not to Double Post, I used EDIT, though it is totally unrelated to the above.

Here is a reply to Hitler-of-Spuds question:
Hitler, the projectile I am referring to is the Nerf Pocket Vortex football.
looks like this: http://images.google.com/images?q=tbn:_ ... rocket.jpg
It's basically a mini-Nerf football. Fits into a 2 inch PVC bore.
Remarkably aerodynamic shape, and it's fin stabilized.

If putting up this URL isn't within forum guidelines, please let me know.

Anyone who gives a modest donation via Paypal may have a custom title.

In fact I shall find a way to give people special privlages for when they donate.

Donating Members

Tue Feb 07, 2006 7:51 pm

Sorry for de-railing your topic and I do apologize. I think PC did a good job of stating where I was coming from. Im also sorry for the use of the swear words they were used in attempt to express how at the time, how absurd I saw your request to be, not a insult. I hope my childish short tempered additude doesnt result in you not donating to this site, because it is truely the greatest poatato gun forum ever. Normally the members are more intrested in helping others, rather then increasing there post count. I see "other" PG forums having a problem with this, anyways that is a whole other discussion... I must express that I do not belive that one members action should deter you in your final decision. Iam truely sorry as before stated. I also love the loading style you have incorperated in the cannon. Loading ammo from the rear gives me a idea in a auto combustion concept...

Apology accepted. but no kissing to make up, I gotta draw the line somewhere. It's all too mushy for me.
Call me a bad name, I'll feel better.

I have finally decided that under no circumstance do I want my rank changed, not ever. If it ever increases I will stomp my feet and use lots of *'s and %'s in my text.

As far as being absurd, I will truly amaze you. Don't let it get to you, it only makes me worse.
I'm more accustomed to Paintball forums, need I say more!

Now back to sharing info, that is where I am coming from anyway.

I know very little about combustion cannons, but I know about combustion itself. Be careful using the Valterra PVC gate valve with a combustion set up.
No matter what it's psi rating, it's a big hunk of PVC and metal back there that could do some major damage to a hand or arm. be Safe.
I felt that I could get away with it, (suing a 50psi rated valve with 75psi of pressure) since it was a pneumatic and dealing with relatively low pressures. The "instant" pressurization that occurs during combustion may do strange things to the gate valve...just my personal warning, I have no basis, just a little gut concern.

Otherwise, the Valterra gate valve is pretty nice for breech loading.
it was around $18, well worth it for what it gives you.

And I like the idea of Special privileges for donations, therfor, if anyone makes me a decent donation, I'll post some more cannons and/or mechanisms.

Wow, I thought it was more than that!
But, I don't know a whole lot about Combustion Cannons.

Beebs you just earned 10 SkunkWerX Bux.
