This cannon was built for a former employer and member of the LDS church. He wanted a launcher that was designed specifically for launching an entire bag of candy, a short distance. - Much like a sawed-off shotgun barrel blast.

The 4" pipe has a wooden spacer, that separates the combustion chamber portion from the barrel portion. The spacer has a 2" hole drilled through the center of it. It wound up being a little more powerful than expected, because he's used it since to launch softballs farther than than the length of a football field.

:thumbright: beautiful cannon. i wish i had you skill, but my cannons cower in the face of that, and im not even going to go into what they do when they see your hybrid. it involves a soccerball, a bag of chocolate, and a flourescent lightbulb

DR- What is the piece of brass that is between the two ball valves. Also, what fitting is that just before (to the right) of the blow ballvalve? I assume that is attaches to your propane tank, but what fitting is it?

You should load it with acorns and use it to take out small flocks of birds...
Seriosuly, nice cannon, very clean, better than "the normal junk" the rolls through here. (My work usually ends up in that category *cough tissue box cannon).

It's commonly referred to as a "Coleman Adapter" ... go figure??

It screws directly onto a 16.4 oz. disposable propane or MAPP tank and the other end is a Male 1/4" NPT.

lol didn't you make a gun with 3 sprinkler valves and 3 barrels very close to each other... like a triangle looking thing. Or if you didn't, do you know which gun I'm talking about? I was almost positive it was you who built it.

Novacastrian: How about use whatever the heck you can get your hands on?
frankrede: Well then I guess it won't matter when you decide to drink bleach because your out of kool-aid.
