I went and bout some pvc primer and cement....and they didn't come with the swab things that you use to apply it to the pipe..well the cement had a hard brush thing, which doesn't seem suitable for a nice air tight seal.......and they didn't sell them separately...so is there anyway of making your own swab thing.....cotton balls maybe
i use q-tips on purpose when using small pipe, it works fine. im sure you can use cotton swabs, but i never have. just as long as you put a even coat on.
maybe a bunch of cotton taped on a pencil or some thing.

"physics, gravity, and law enforcement are the only things that prevent me from operating at my full potential" - not sure, but i like the quote
you know you are not an engineer if you have to remind yourself "left loosy righty tighty"

how about a old towel or cloth? or just gloves? idk ive never used this stuff.
some people say dont let the primer dry out before applying the cement, but i find that really hard to do.
What i know is that you need primer to make strong bonds for pressure pipe, and that the stuff is red, and it makes the pipe weaker so the cement melts it easier.
Obviously you wouldnt want to get it in places you arent going to glue, so use a paintbrush or something, thats what i do and it works beautifully!
