Crappy Fireworks

Hey Fellas i live in aus and the only fireworks we can get where i live are SPARKLERS! Me and my friend bought 5 bucks worth yesterday and mucked around with them trying to make some sort of big show something, on one try we made a rocket that pushed a toy car a couple of metres or so. any1 one know of anything you do with sparklers thats fun?

You might be able to do a match rocket witha sparkeler. Well first off, a match rocket is a plain wood stick match, you wrap the top in aluminum foil, so only a little bot of the stick is hanging out, then hold a lighter to it(the colored end that catches on fire, also, it should be completely covered so you cant see it.), they shoot off like a rocket. Try that with sprinklers, should work...maybe.

P.S., dont be in thier line of fire. stand tot he side, not infront of or behind

omg. Sparklers are not lame. flying spud look take about 30 to 50 sparklers and tape them together real tight with the one in the middle sticking up alittle then if you packed it right it has enough power to shoot through a metal pipe or if it is packed wrong a 30 foot flame will come out the top

i saw a pic of 1000 !! sparklers going off at once (huge flash then a mushroom cloud) and theyre not as lame as i thought

ok, here is a fun game...

gring up the sparkler stuff so that it isnt on the sticks anymore, just powder.

now get a tennis ball and cut/drill a hole about 10mm diametre in it, now you want to fill the tennis ball up with the powder right to the top.

stick a new sparkler into the ball as a fuse so it sticks out a bit

lastly, light the fuse, then enjoy, you can throw it ball and itll fly for ages, giving off heaps of sparks or just sit it on the ground or w/e

Just get 2 or 3 packs of sparklers and grind them up. Put them in a plastic bottle put in a new sparkler in the the powder, then we get a disposabal lighter and stick it in there too (cut a hole in the side then duck tape the whole thing) man lighters in plastic bottles go big big big boom. light and run like hell. I live in aus too and we are always playing with these things. Weve managed to make explosions of about 15 feet with these so be really really carefull.

u guys r exactlly like me i live in aus and have been trying to get my hands on bigger and better explosives than just sparkeler bombs. i've tried everything in my power to get some gunpowder or potassium nitrateor something thats explosive but i cant so i've invented the aerobomb. you get a milo tin the big ones drink all the milo or just tip it out in the bin or something so the can is empty. you then get a drill fitting thats just as big as a sparkeler and drill a hole in the lid of the milo tin (the centre of it).you then put an emty aerosole can in the milo tin(a lynx deoderent can fits very well)and pour the sparkelers that you take off the wire(you dont have to grind it into a powder but you have to take it off the wire) all over the aerosole can, filling the milo tin up(or at least covering the aerosole can).you get a normal sparkeler and cut it so you can't see and bare metal, put the lid on the milo tin and put the sparkeler through the hole in the lid. you light the sparkeler and run away (preferablly behind a tree just peeking out so you can only see the milo tin) and it blows sending heaps of schrapnell everywhere.if you want to make it bigger get the phosphorous off matchheads(the red stuff) and put it on the top of the sparkelers.
it makes the sparkelers ignite quicker and it fires up heaps tell me if you make any better ajustmentscause i'm looking for new projects

NICE ! Hey just drive to canberra (i live in sydney) and you can get fireworks. Or you can go to the china town near you. If you live in sydney go to the huge paddys market! You can buy everything! Also make the touch sensitive amonia triiodide. Man this stuff is 5X more sensitive than nitroglycerine but wont blow your hands off! It can be used as a fun prank at school. It is basically iodine (pure) from a pharmacy, really cheap and also amonia from a cleaning store. If you cant get amonia get amonia hydroxide which is readily available. Search for amonia triiodide in google, it will give you the recipe! Want more mayhem, destruction and homemade booms? Go to my 2nd favorite site http://www.totse.com. BE CAREFULL OK! not trying to ruin all the fun, it sounds like loads of fun, but I thought posting explosives were against the rules, or is it ok if you dont use them as ammo?

The rules are more lenient here, but spudguns + pyro= big no no. However I must suggest not playing with what Urban Ninja is talking about since the stuff is WAYYY too dangerous to even try to have fun with.
