Definately !! Hey just a bit of advice if ur gonna build a mini make sure you use a metal barrel. Plastic ones cant cut potato well, have less power and melt (this is what ive found personally). Also try to just use propane, minis get really oily and messy which causes jamming and misfires. Have fun and thanks for the 10!!
Hey just wondering where do you live? I live in Sydney Australia.

Thanks for your support drac. As it has a copper barrel I shoot potato out of it, that gives an amzing boom and a hell of a range, It goes out of sight . But if i want to do it mortar style I put homemade missile things in, Ill upload pictures today.
And to cardinals08 you are right it is not a pill container it is a bottle of 'essence' (you can find it in the cake making section of supermarkets) which is slightly larger than the pill and has thicker walls. It gives it more power than a normal pill bottle.
HELP ME ! I just remembered to ask, can you think of any stabilising device for this? every time I fire it the recoil blows it off the stand. I have tried a lot of stuff, Ive put those little rubber grips on the stand feet and cannon endcap and all these other sticky things but they all either do not work or they make it difficult to open the endcap and stick to you. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks! It is 1/4 inch copper. Do you not have any lying around? There is always some copper piping in my attic (not connected) scrap from when the water pipes were fixed. Well good luck ! Are you in the US or Aus?

US, ya, I have some copper, but I think it is 1/2 inch, I can use that but would want a bigger barrel. and I dont think it is long enough, longest piece is about 8 inches I think and I can't find a chamber big enough with thick enough walls
Edit: I just remembered that I have a 20 ounce coke bottle in my room, that should work, shouldn't it

that should work well 8) , if you want it to have mega mega power you would idealy want a much much bigger barrel, but for mortars its better to have smaller as it looks cooler and is easily transported. GOOD LUCK!

sorry for the questions, I have one more, how much power would I lose If I had a 90 degree elbow right at the chamber, because I have some spare copper tubes with the elbows on them, but cant find my cutter to cut it off, again, sorry for all the questions on your post

Dont worry forums are made for questions ask as many as you want! You shouldnt lose much power at all. That should be pretty cool, have the chamber as the handle like a pistol! Do you plan on using a long nose lighter piezo or a bbq clicker?

I dont have any BBQ clickers, so I will use a long nosed lighter piezo, and I just found out that it is 3/4 inch copper and the longest piece I have is 7 and a half inches with an elbow in the end, so I will use that and the coke bottle, I will get going on that as soon as I get home from school tomorrow providing I have no homework
How did you attach your barrel to your chamber by the way? I will probably just drill a hole slightly smaller than my tube, wrap the end of the barrel in tape, and epoxy it. you think this would be a good enough bond?
and for your recoil problem, is there a way you can have it where the barrel moves slightly back and forth in the chamber to act as a shock absorber
