BBMG
This is it---Took a few months to perfect. The gun frame is made of 3/4 inch pvc pipe, 3/4 inch fittings, 1 inch fittings, and some 2 inch pvc fittings along with some brass fittings. To be honest, very little pvc cement was used, the barrel is 1/4 inch brakeline, the end that enters the vortex block(made of bondo) is flared and has a bolt... perfect for taping it into the pvc and bando. There is a metal skirt on the block to prevent jaming and I used silicon sealant to make an air tight seal on the block..yet its still accessable
the trigger set up-- its a blowgun
- inside the hopper (2 inch t)
this is my air source...20 oz Co2 with a female palmer reg with a remote and quick disconnect - I put the tank on my back in a paintball pod pack to keep it vertical... the reg is great but still cant take liquid co2... i had a variety of whacky and scary instances messing withe reg... and im happy to have all my fingers
this is the hose connected at the disconnect
this is the stock/ endcap set up --- i wrap it in teflon tape to seal the chamber
over all it was fun to build, its kicks ass and can really be a bitch when its aimed at you, the best part is the adjustable pressure.. the higher the pressure, the faster the velocity and rate of fire
i havent gotten a video...no video camera.. but its really no different then any other vortex bbmg or cloud just a shitload of fun

Thats a good looking gun. the only thing i can think of that i would change is the handle location, i would make it vertical so its more ile an actual gun grip. but thats just me.
Very nice gun though.

Your hardwork has definitely paid off. The gun looks great and I'm sure it performs great as well. I always like a good military-themed gun.

That's really nice. One question though, how long can you shoot on one co2 tank?

haha thanks... yea it was a little pricy, ufortunatly i bought alot of stuff but didnt end up using it in the final version, but brassfittings and whatnot dont go to waste. i beleve it was around $100 total but i now have alot of 2 inch pvc and 3/4 inch pvc left over and enough brass fittings for a pneumatic cannon...that doesnt count the air source which was $120 for only the reg and remote
the way i look at it.... besides sports and a little paintball, i dont really have a hobby and i dont play video games or an instrament so its all reletive

as far as the air supply... ive never used it straight up yet, mostly i just do a little shooting here and there, but that promts me to find out, - i still havent found a working pressure that is right, ive noticed after some point of increasing the pressure, distance stops increasing so i have to test a good pressure that can last long, have a nice sting to it, and shoot far
spudthug u could use a homemade bb trap, i use boxes so i can reuse the metal bb's. of course unless you use the gun for airsoft war.spudthug wrote:wow this is amazingly awesome! i am not into bbmgs though as they waste to many bbs for my poor ass sweet gun! definately one of the best bbmgs
u did a great job fpshutch74, looks like u put alot of work into. my question is did u have the regulator or did u buy it, i want one so i can make my bbmg portable. also can the gun be taken apart.
