I tried out my new marker gun pumped it up too much and broke the seal I salvaged it with my dremmel for the shrader and the piece of airsoft gun barrel. Now I am making a diffenent marker gun that is a little shorter than a caped high lighter. I found a interesting discovery for a barrel a toilet water supply tube it's about 4.75mm id. costs about
$3.50 CD better than buying a kit with a blowgun exstention. it's strait a little flexy but good I am going to use wadding on the bb.

In the world of spuds today i got the metering system on my hybrid working properly :) All i need is the ignitor which i most likely wont get till the weekend which is a dissapointment as I really want to fire this SOB.
i also decided that im not going to give up on my auto piston and keep trying. most likely wont get it working but ive always wanted to make a semi or full auto so I wont give up.

ITWOSY, I went out to my buddy's farm and fired a 7x air/propane, 8x air/propane, two 12x oxy/propane, and a 20x oxy/propane mix. To see how that all went, check out the thread "ME20H-41, by DYI".

We may need another rethink of our ideas about detonation, because not only am I still here, but so is the gun, and it's only SCH 40 welded steel with malleable iron fittings. The rear flame front can travel more than 7 chamber diameters before reaching the end of the chamber, and the mix was metered very accurately.

are you planning on doing a test for me?

seal the chamber and messure high mix peaks?
i see how even seamed sch 40 holds up and i think my comming hybrid can handle it to. what do you think?

hydrotested to 2600psi (i think it burst at around 3500)
how high can i go with that?

i have heared so much about peaks (HGDT tells me 77bar at 10x) how can i find this out?

ITWOST

I have started my Aluminum shot gun. I am ordering a nice 2in chamber for it off McMaster. ( Thanks to Mitch and BTB for inspiration).

Also finishing touches on my GB sniper are almost complete.

ITWOST: I recently went to visit with my best friend in the city and I learned that he has died from an OD of drugs.

He was my coolest friend in D.C. and it looks like he had a drug charge so when he went to court and it looked like he would definately go to jail again, he went into the bathroom there and did all the drugs he had and he died. They found his body the next day.

They have already had his funerul and like my friends told me "let the dead be dead" so now I feel if I don't do just that I'll feel sick.

The thing of it is that this is the fourth time this has happened to me and I'm only 30. It's really too bad and it does'nt make sense. But that's just the life. Tommorrow is'nt gauranteed. 8)

thats quite saddening... im sorry ot hear that tunderlord....

anyway, on a happier note, ive sucessfully made a (ghetto as hell) hammer valve powered MARBLE GUN that gets a good 350-400 FPS and a good 40 shots before refilling........

ill post it when i make a proper trigger for it, as of now it simply uses a dowel that i pull out...........

also, i just came into the realization i have 2 MILES of open feild to play around in, aka im constructing a hybrid this summer :-D

ITWOST my bike pump decided to stop working :(
It was a nice pump too, good up to 180psi(although I have pushed it to 210)and very reliable(until now). It cost like 50 bucks
I guess ill just go to wal mart this weekend and buy a cheap one, though if my dad has a sudden burst of willingness to let me owe him a hundred bucks or so I might get a compressor.
And thats pretty much it, i cant really do anything without that pump

ITWOST I have been trying to scrounge some money up for a husky 26 gallon air compressor, not had much luck yet. Also, I have been plinking with my new bb gun (see it here http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/viewtop ... tml#181881 ) and have made a 15 minute cloud bbmg, which is pathetic really (all hot glue and tape), but gives me an idea as to what bbmgs are like. That's what I want the compressor for, my CO2 tank will run out quickly with sustained fire. Yeah, that's about it, school is getting in the way as usual...

ITWOST, my 260psi floor pump arrived. :)

Finally broken the 115psi spell and joined the moderate high pressure club :D

Only thing is that the pump guage shows a 40psi difference between the cannon guage...what's up with that?

The pump says 260psi, but the cannon says 220psi...And I tried it on different cannons and difference guages too.

I'm probably overlooking something...
