Not sure if this was posted before but it's an exhaustive study of airsoft ballistics, nicely done and proof if any was needed that airsoft BBs are a terrible choice of ballistic projectile

We all knew that one but there's (arguably) no better choice for recreation because of their low cost. And the fact that you can easily take advantage of the Magnus effect to get respectable ranges from such a low velocity (aka safe) projectile.
