Thank you to wyz2285 and his videos for the inspiration and information i have gained for this project. A lot of the system shown here is of his creation and I want to give credit where credit is due
Here is what I have made as my latest.
A bolt action gun, fully portable, operating at 120psi. My clippard tank is the biggest limitation, rated for 250psi, so I do not see a need to go too much higher. I have a DCV and QEV operating the pneumatic system. I am estimating 300fps.
After some test shots at 20ft at an empty paint thinner can i caught ricochet and got a nasty welt, so this thing has some power. I attempted at sights and bi-pod for the first time and both are working somewhat.
What do you guys think, I have learned a lot form this project and I hope to learn more from the comments, so have at it
UPDATE:
Damage pics on a paint thinner can, ranging from 130psi to 120psi with 6mm air-soft pellets
New airsoft gun

It looks very familiar to me damage are not bad for the pressure, I got the same result when using similar pressure. Nice main chamber, what is it?

If I understood how this thing operated Id make one,I havent made an airgun in years!,after my failed Semi Auto attempt I gave up but now concidering making another gun.
Ive never managed to get a Bolt Action airgun to seal correctly and not lose air through the bolt system upon firing?!.

wyz2285 I'm using a clippard accumulator. We used them on our robots back in high school, this one is rated for 250psi. Thanks for the inspiration
django, i haven't got the sealing down just yet, getting close though. Take a look at wyz2285 videos, they are pretty dang helpful. Have you seen Django the movie yet, look pretty sweet

Good stuff a simple magazine shouldn't be too hard to sort out, and a fridge compressor will turn those dents into holesYEAHADD16 wrote:

Not Seen Django the Movie but am a Huge fan of the original Sergio Corrbuci 1966 DJANGO plus lots of other old 60's- 70-'s Spaghetti westerns hence my user name.I research Wyz2285's work further to figure out how you guys are getting these guns to operate but I want mine fully portable...
